1. Support of Agile Development
Rommana 10.2 supports teams using any form of agile methodologies through the following features:
1.1 Requirement Collaboration Notes
Agile teams are able to work with requirements/Customer Stories in real-time by reacting to requirements or use stories added by users and business analysts. Any team member who has the access privilege to edit/create requirements can enter a collaboration note. Upon the entry of a collaboration note, an email will be fired to all team members with a link to the specific requirement/user story.
1.2 Iterations/Sprints
A project manager or a development manager an agile project is able to schedule different requirements to different iterations within a release. Project managers can also run typical project management reports such as timeline and cost estimation report for each iteration. Test mangers can run typical test management reports such as requirement test coverage reports for each requirements.
1.3 Ad hoc Issue Reports Notifications
Testers and in agile team may submit an issue about any thing they see about features. Once an issue report is submitted, an email is fired to all members of the agile team to take an immediate action.
2. Support of Exploratory Testing
Rommana believes that there is a place for Exploratory Testing in any project, especially agile projects that are fast pace and iterative in nature. Exploratory Testing is supported in Rommana 10.2 through the following features:
2.1 Ad hoc Tests
Test teams are able to run tests without pre-designing them through the Rommana Scenario Based methodology. However, Rommana requires certain level of documentation of ad hoc tests to assure effectiveness and auditability.
2.2 Ad hoc Issue Report Notifications
Test teams are able to submit ad hoc issue reports to report problems that are discovered with a release while running an ad hoc test or just found while exploring the application.
3. Support of SaaS
Starting with release 10.2, Rommana will be available as Software As a Service. The model is intended to make very affordable for any project of any size to use the full power of Rommana at a very low cost. All 6 components of Rommana will be available at $100 per user per month.
4. Miscellaneous Features
